12% Hydrogen Peroxide for Cleaning Comic Books

This product aid in lightening stains and general whitening.  Use only with gloves and safety glasses

It is 12% w/v H2O2 and can embrittle paper if used too much.  Please use it with care.

Most commonly, we use it 1:3 vs. DI water for a 3% solution (25% absolute)

e.g. 50ml of Salon Care 40 + 150ml of DI Water for 200ml of total solution

Other mixtures we use

or 1:1 vs DI water for a 6% solution (50% absolute) for aggressive whitening (most embrittling to paper)

or 1:6 vs. DW water for a 1.7% solution (1.7% absolute) for light whitening if you are just starting out.
